A skewer with a critter, hamster, guinea pig or rabbit head, comes with 2 flat wooden shapes on to chew and space to add on more wooden chews, slat licks or fresh fruit.
Makes a great hanging toy that can be climbed upon and used as food enrichment.
Overall a very versatile product.

Although, they don’t seem interested in the stuff that comes on it, it was handy for hanging fresh fruits on. Will have to try various other things to hang on it.

I bought mine about 6 years ago for the rats and they certainly do last! I have the old style one with the plasicy flat head, rather than an annoying 3D one, mine also has a bell on the end. Good for me as it amuses them more, but I guess annoying if you had the mice in your room. Maybe that’s why they changed the design.
I use mine to have fresh fruit and veggies on, which means they have to work for their food, rather than just grabbing it out of the bowl. This also means that mostly they have to hang onto the kabob/ bars when eating, which means an individual can’t hide favourite foods from the others. I think this probably also improves their balance with an obvious reward, as if multiple mice are hanging onto it it wobbles alot!
The only downside is that the top of the metal bar gets a bit grimey sometimes, so yo have to wash it AFTER you put the food on, and before you screw it up. Another downside is that with fewer mice, you can’t rally use these as you can’t put smaller portions on the kabob. I only use it if I have 4 or more.

This is great a real good way of feeding your pet a treat. I brought one as a trial in one of my cages to see if there was an interest, they loved it eating corn carrot tomatoes apples e.t.c Went out and brought 3 more great product recommend to anyone, I’m going to buy another 4!

Super Pets Ka-Bob is a fantastic product for feeding fruit, vegetables and wood chews. Consisting of a metal ’skewer’ with a screw cap at the bottom, and either a plastic rabbit, guinea pig, or hamster head at the top, the ka-bob is easily attached to the cage with a large clip. Some models have a bell on the bottom of the screw cap. whilst being totally safe for all small animals, the ka-bob can be cleaned really easily. However, due to the size of fruit needed, I only use this product if I have 4 or more mice in a cage. I would definitely get more if I get more mice.
