This is a really sturdy little cage and has 0.5cm bar spacing, making it ideal for young mice, nursing mums or as a quarantine cage for new little mices. The access is good and the base is nice and deep to allow the bedding to be piled up for burrowing.
Unfortunately, it’s a pretty small size, making it, in my opinion, unsuitable for more than 2 mice for more than a week or two. It’s a useful quarantine or travel cage though as it’s really compact so could be carried around or similarly stored really easily when not in use.
I think it’s good value for money, despite the cons and would give the cage 9 out of 10 for the uses I’ve suggested. It doesn’t rate much as a permanent cage. I would buy this product again for splitting a litter or as a quarantine or carry cage.
