It’s millet seed pressed into a shape of a ball. Only ever give it as a treat once in a while but it’s always a hit. Usually takes one mouse about 2-3 days to finish but all that’s ever left is the little plastic hanging bit, which has a hook to clip it to the cage bars. My mice do make a mess but considering how much they enjoy it I don’t mind.
