This plastic wheel is easy to assemble but awkward to clean. I’ve managed to break two of them, as they are quite fragile. However the mice love running in them as they can go fast and I think they like feeling protected inside it.
A word of warning though, the only time they get to play in the wheel is when they are out of the cage and under supervision. I think it could be dangerous and on the box there is a similar warning. It’s fine if one mouse is going in and out of the wheel but I saw one of my mice almost get crushed by the spokes as another mouse started to run inside. I know they’re flexible creatures but a baby mouse could definitely get hurt. I don’t put this wheel in their cage but they do like it a lot so I make sure that they play on it one at a time.
