This is the absolute favourite wheel of my four girls! They all absolutely love it and run on it for ages every day! It is very quiet and sturdy and is the easiest wheel to clean out of all the wheels that I have. Highly recommended.

These wheels are a fantastic invention! There’s absolutely no way an animal can suffer from a curved spine using one of these, as they’re almost horizontal. Fantastic. You do need to use these on the floor of the cage, but they don’t take up too much room at all, especially when you think of the needed exercise in such a safe way.
Being made of single pieces of plastic with raised ridges, they’re safe, sturdy and also easy to clean. The saucer part comes apart from the base, but this is only very simple, as it’s only a spoke that fits into a hole! You do have to be careful, though, that a little white piece of plastic isn’t lost…it fits onto the spoke and goes into the hole too, but sometimes these can come out and although it’s totally safe putting it back, it’s just possible to lose it.
These aren’t 100% silent, but they’re VERY quiet. No wheel is ’silent’ when an animal is pounding their fastest on it! Even when your mouse is just gently padding along, you can hear it spinning, but it’s only a quiet, whispering ’shh’ sound, which isn’t annoying at all.
Most of my mice use these happily enough once they’ve learned how to use it and two in particular enjoy racing round on it at the same time together, which is fantastic to watch. It also probably prevents a lot of seasickness in the poor little blighters! As, although it doesn’t stop exactly when the mouse stops running, the angle of the wheel means that the weight of the mouse does make it stop pretty much as soon as, getting rid of the well known spinning mouse occurring!
These aren’t ‘cheap’, but they’re great value for money, as they last SO long and are so fun, both to use and to watch; I have 3 and would certainly buy another.
