Nibble Potpourri
My local pet store has just started to stock the new naturals boredom breaker range and I brought some of the Nibble potpourri. It is very basically a range of dried grasses in their natural state. I can see 4 different grasses, including according to the pack foxtail millet and flax.

My mice have gone completely crazy for it, chewing the sticks and spending time breaking into all the little seed pods. They really seem to love it and I think it is great to give them something different which they love and is also natural

My pack cost £2.29 which is alot for 50g of grasses, but they really do love them and you separate out the grasses so it would likely last a few weeks with 2-3 strands of grass feed 3ish times a week. Definitely something I plan to pick up maybe monthly.

I put a few bits into their cage last night and I didn’t even close the cage before the lot of ‘em were gathered around it. They really seemed to enjoy tearing it apart. Not sure how much was eaten, but I can’t find any substantial pieces in there in the morning. Although, it isn’t cheap, it seems to be a hit. It was originally bought for the chinchillas, but I thought I’d try it out with the new meece, as well. Everybody involved thinks it’s great!

Nibble Potpourri
These are a lovely treat to give mice and many other rodents. You can hang the taller grasses from cage bars, bury bits and pieces of it and hide it. My mice pulled it all down and ate it in one night. So not only must they like the taste, it also provides recreation for your mice. The downside is the price but if you make what you’ve got last and only buy it occasionally, I find it isn’t that bad value for money.

This is a collection of various dried grasses. Very good to hang from the top of the cage. I’ve used some wire to attach 1 or 2 pieces at a time from the cage lid. Would definitely buy them again as they love the taste and it also gives them something to do. I also like them as they are a healthier option for the mice than most normal treats. If only a couple of pieces are used then it lasts a while and is good value for money.

Strawberry Sticks
Ingredients: Analysis: Cereals, seeds, Protein 14.0%, Oils 12.5%, nuts, eggs and egg products, Fibre 8.0%, Ash 4.2% Strawberries (5%).

A nice healthy treat from the Naturals range. These have a metal hook on the top so that they can easily be hooked onto a wire lid. It is also a good idea to use something like a cable tie if you don’t want the mice to take it down. This is a hard treat for them to gnaw at so they are occupied. They also gnaw at the wooden centre when the treat is gone.

They also tend to forget they have their normal food, because of this I only leave it in for a couple of hours before taking it out until the next day and repeating this until it is gone.
