This cage was bought for my 4 boys and it housed them perfectly. It’s a nice spacious cage for them to roam about in. There is a platform (not in photo) that adds more floor space for them with a handy ladder that makes it easy for them to stroll up and down.
This cage suits both older and lazier mice as well as young fiesty mice. Rome who is my oldie would spend most of the time asleep in the house or underneath the ladder keeping everyone around him warm! Where as younger mice like Casino and Braveheart could chase each other around the platform and run to their hearts content in the wheel.
The only problem is the mice like to chew the bars and remove the white coating rather easily. They also like to pee and poo on the platform meaning it had to be cleaned fairly often. The way the platform is attached to the cage makes it difficult to remove.
All in all this was a succesful cage and it will happily house 3 or 4 mice together!
