This cage is designed for hamsters so the bar spacing is not ideal for smaller mice as they can squeeze through, particularly where the wire door clips are. However, it’s a nice size of cage for 2 or 3 mice and good quality. The mice love the tubes and they are very secure and can be unclipped from the outside for easy cleaning. The shelf can be taken out or moved higher/lower to enable larger wheels etc. However, like some other Ferplast cages, the doors are in the wrong place for optimum access. Although I do like cages that have doors on the top and the side as it then makes it possible to extend the cage!
I don’t think the cage represents particularly good value for money, but my vet kindly donated the cage to my mice, so I’m more than happy with it!
