This, like it’s smaller counterpart, the Mickey Double, is really sturdy with 0.5cm bar spacing and powder-coated bars.

It’s a much better size than the Mickey Double and can easily fit a hamster wheel and a hammock or two. This cage is pretty much escape-proof even though the size is still a little limiting. The base tray is deep though which means plenty of depth for burrowing and bedding, which is a plus point.

I would give this 10 out of 10, as it’s fabulous value for money. It’s really difficult to find a cage specifically geared for mice and therefore escape-proof for them. I would definitely purchase it again.

I have recently purchased this cage. I originally liked it because of the space between the bars and the fact that it has a raised platform for the mice to eat and drink on. It come inclusive of a food dish (small), water bottle and wheel. The wheel can squeak sometimes but on the whole its OK.

For the money I think this cage is good value and I now have two of them. The only thing I would have liked to be different is for it to be slightly taller so the hammocks have more room and are further off the ground but apart from that I love this cage!

Price: approx £27 (plus free hamster starter kit included, shame they don’t do mouse starter kits)
Score: 9/10

I really like this cage and feel that it is a very useful addition to a mouse-owners cage collection.

With it’s very narrow bar spacing it is suitable for even the tiniest mice. It is a reasonable size and the space you have can be put to good use with both stand alone and hanging toys. It has a nice deep base so you can give lots of bedding and it is really easy to clean.

We got one of these cages as a temporary home for a pair of young girls before moving them into a bigger cage and it was perfect for the job.

A lovely little cage. Very small and certainly not a cage I would home a mouse in permanently, but makes a fab emergency cage, separation cage or hospital cage. I bought this cage to use for babies when separated from mum, and also to house one male temporarily. The cage has great narrow bar bar spacing so good for young mice. Easy to clean and maintain. Not much height so your limited with what you can add.

This cage is great due to small bar spacing and easy to clean design. As it is a barred cage it is easy to add toys to and has great ventilation. This comes in handy for mice suffering from strokes, other health issues or recovering from operations as the level is not too far from the ground and the floor size isn’t too bad for a temporary cage. However I did think it was pricey considering the size and I’d rather it was a bit bigger but overall I am quite happy with the cage. However one thing I am not too keen on is the level as it is bars rather than a solid surface but I often just cover it up to make that little bit more comfortable for little mouse feet. It definitely is a cage to keep hold of for emergencies!
