I promised I would this up here.
I was having so much trouble finding suitable things to pop out int he garden when the meecesters passed on. Alot of stuff was way too expensive or inappropriate or large.
I found this site:- www.thepaintedpotshop.co.uk . The lady who runs it is Clare and is very nice. She ordered special for me a set of 57mm pots on which she painted flowers corresponding to my girls names. They looked so beautiful and just the right size to have a group of them in the garden.
She is doing me one for Kasala with her name on it too, a standard 9 cm small pot.
Just under £15.00 for four little pots and postage was a bargain. Clare only accepts payment by cheque at the moment but is a pleasure to deal with. All pots are suitable for outdoors and indoors and she can do a range of artwork. You can see other examples of her talent on her website. She also does pebbles too if pots aren't your thing.
Sunflowers pot went out, her and Thistle have slate chippings to weigh them down and they look beautiful.

What a lovely idea. They are so decorative. Right now I use cooking matches boxes (because they are a larger, longer size) and line them with tissue paper to place my little mouse`s body in. I`d love to be able to paint them with nice, fun colours, but usually just use the box as it is. I take it these little pots are memorial pots that you place over the grave Kat?
This is a really good idea because I have bamboo canes sticking up out of the ground to remind me where my babies are buried. I`d love to have little memorial pots like this instead that I could stand proud to remind me of my little ones who are gone, but not forgotten.
I could`nt bury Kim recently for about four days as the ground was solid. I had to store her box in the shed until I could get a spade through the soil. Not good, but she`s at rest now since the thaw came. _________________ Of all the people I know, my mice are the most...human. |

Yeah, they go over the grave. We always put paving slabs down on top to stop next doors cats digging so we put the pots on top of those.
If you email Clare she can do custom pots for whatever you need. _________________ Freddy 2:- currently home to Lupin, Lily, Tulip and Solo, HH home to Rose and Poppy / Foster Mum to:-Patrick
